The Apartheid regimes was beginning to be dismantled as Fun Da Mental arrived in South Africa.

Prophets Of Da City were kicking on all fronts and it was simple after one listen to "Never Again" that this was a hip hop collective that oozed talent in every direction. The structures of traditional beats and hip hop worked with fantastic results.

On our return and with the blessings and support of Beggars Banquet Prophets were flown into the UK and settled down to begin constructing a concept which was not only exciting but creatively pushing the art form.

The energy and honesty flows out of the records with great passion and integrity.
